Our 2026 Headteacher Wellbeing Report is our fifth annual report since we were established in 2020. The report serves as a 'state of the nation' summary of the key stressors and issues shared with us anonymously throughout 2025 based on phone calls to our helpline from headteacher colleagues. We make a number of recommendations that we believe will impact positively on the wellbeing and effectiveness of school leaders up and down the country.
As always, we encourage colleagues to share the report within and across their organisation so that the wellbeing of headteachers (and school leaders at all levels) remains a key priority.
